The 10th China Guangzhou International Maritime Trade Exhibition

On July 26~28, the 10th China Guangzhou International Maritime Trade Exhibition and Forum 2023 was held in Pazhou, Guangzhou, to practice the new development concept with practical actions, accelerate the pace of transformation and upgrading, show new achievements in practical work, and strive to write a new chapter in the high-quality development of the shipbuilding industry.

Wu Qiang, Executive Vice President of China Shipbuilding Industry Association, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. He said that Guangzhou Maritime Exhibition is based on one of China’s three major shipbuilding bases, and the Guangzhou International Maritime Exhibition held in the Pearl River Delta is on the one hand to promote exchanges and cooperation with shipowners, marine engineering and marine fisheries in Southeast Asian countries, and on the other hand, to promote technological innovation in ships and marine equipment and enhance the localization application of supporting industries. This year is the first year of full liberalization of the new crown epidemic, and the Guangzhou Maritime Exhibition took the lead in opening, which also made a good start for the holding of other domestic maritime exhibitions.

At this exhibition, more than 300 enterprises from many countries and regions around the world jointly participated in the exhibition, including international exhibition area, shipbuilding enterprise exhibition area, marine equipment and advanced materials exhibition area, ship guidance exhibition area, cruise industry exhibition area, cruise (passenger ship) interior decoration exhibition area, marine ranching exhibition area, offshore wind power exhibition area, intelligent ship and digital transformation exhibition area, and other nine exhibition areas, comprehensively displaying innovative products, technologies and services in the upstream and downstream industrial chain of the maritime industry.
